Tube Chop

Everyone loves youtube. Youtube as we all know have multiple use. We can watch videos on various topics of our choice, we can upload and share videos, we can also use it as an online marketing tool. But most of all we love to watch videos on the subject of our choice.

There are some specific things we can do with youtube. We can take a link of a video and send it and share it to someone. We can even embed videos from youtube into our own website. That gives us a whole lot of power. For instance if we want to place a video demo of our product into our website we can do it very easily with youtube. Just shoot the video, upload it onto youtube and embed into our website.

So far so good. But just in case you saw a video and you liked one part of it. You now want to share that part alone. Youtube does not provide you any feature by which you can crop a video and share that part. So now what do we do? Here is where this site comes in.

The home page has a search field. You can search for any youtube video you want. In the result page you will see a small pink button called "Chop it". When you click on that the video will start playing in a new page. Below the video you will be presented with a bar with handles. You can drag the two handles and select a portion of the video. When you are ready you can chop it.

Now your choice of video is ready and you will be presented with two pieces of codes. One is a link to the video you have chopped. You can use the link to share the video. The other is a code to embed the video in your website.

This is a cool feature which I have not seen in any other website. The website is simple and very useful.
